Despite of sleeping late last nite, i woke up early to go for my medical checkup. The nurse is frdly, she even asked whether am i the one who called the day before. "Yahh, tats me"
Like typical checkups, I did my urine test, height & weight measurement, check eyesight, blood pressure, heart & lungs hearing..etc...
Oh...I was kind of surprised bcos the doctor looks young. He's definitely a frdly and nice doctor. * However, hope i wont get to see him too often*
He said, "so Dori$, u'r joining us.. welcome..."
Oh yah, did i mention that he's kind of cute too?
I love this pink bracelet to bits... know wad? It's gone! Out of Stock! How saddening!
However, i found it at some auction website, but is like so EXP!!!! crazy then i buy...
Later, my sis is treating us dinner @ Sakae... she got her partial paycheck, u see.. tats why... Unlike me... my pay is still wif the stupz agency!

Met sis @ Orchard, "accompanied" her to shop ard. Basically i was there to see how she spent her money. (i'm broke, u see)
Met the rest and went around to buy b'day gal's pressie(
Braun Buffel wallet, MNG vounchers and some ballons) before proceeding to Pa$ir Ri$.
On our way back, saw familiar faces... It's Joyc3lyn and her dear frd Jiexi! Hahaa... They were nice enough to let the talkative us to join them... As usual, updates and gossips session... We were actually forced to leave kopi bean coz the staff there pull down their door! Hahaa...

2nd post of the dayWent to sign letter of appointment in the afternoon... The HR person is nice and helpful. She briefed me on the necessary stuff.. And I like a problem kid, kept asking her questions -__-!|| Must clear my doubts mah.. Anyway i realised that i have or shld i say MUST wear covered toes shoes.. Yah, Again!!! Haiz...Wad to do.. Corporate Image is important mahh... As if my toes really that ugly lor! I got paint my nails one k! Just that they dun appreciate.
In order to comfort myself, I try to think that Guys are actually lagi poor thing! GUYs have to wear long sleeve shirt, pants of coz those black polished shoes.. Hahaa... Just to make myself feel better...
Met up wif linn and we went shopping around Bugis... Kind of dizzy after walking around at Bugis village. Maybe bcos of the air ventilation there. Will avoid going there ahh... linn & myself still tink tat MNG n Z@RA still the best... hahaa.. As if we rich only ahh! We went back to our hometown to meet sis for dinner and continue some shopping (Great Singapore Sales started liao wad). Believe it, each of us bought a pair of footwear... Are we really lack of footwears or wad?? Hahaa..
Hope my Auntie wont visit me tml, i need to do medical checkup...

I'm worrying too much of "unnecessary" stuffs these days. Afterall life is too short, I would want to lead a happier life from now onwards. (sound as if i'm not happy sia) Something just bothering me. Or isit the time of the month? XD
After hearing so many barking from sis, i gave tat agency a call tis morning. They said that my pay will be credited on the 1st or 2nd of June... which is next week. How true?? I shall wait and see.
Was browsing the jobdb$ webby, saw tat position/company which i went for interview few weeks back, they are advertising again eh. Does that means that the person whom they employed run away?? God knows... Kekeke..

Just received a call from the company which i went for interview on Tuesday. Yah. They are offering the job. I accepted it. As for paywise still okie, they will review it after my probation period.
This organisation which i'm going to work in, is kind of like doing well.... kekeke..Coz last yr, we did some research of them and bought their company's sh@res for a financial module. They got a jumped in profit.
I kind of realistic so i'm gonna ask about bonu$ and incentives tomorrow. WhEee
Msg sis to tell her about my job offer...She said "okie mah". Yeah, of coz she said that, she got slightly higher pay than me and her lunch or even dinner is provided. Which means she can save a lot on meals. She always got a job which provides her lunch. However, kind of same fate as me when it comes to the no. of work days. Boohoo~
She just got her pro-rated pay. But to me is like so much can. Whereas for me, I am still wondering when will the agency credit my pay to a/c. Make me wait and wait only.
Got to prepare passport sized photo and photocopied of bank book later. Think i should make a trip down to Toa Payoh to take new photo...
Slacking period is gonna over soon... No more sleeping to late mornings liao. At least my dad wouldn't ask why i keep going for interviews.

Did some research on the companies which i'm going for interviews... However, half-way thru' I get bored...Then i proceed to change my blogskin. Another blogskin by EvOnE. I love her designs... Been to the BigWalk yesterday...It was so hot and tiring. We simply joined in the rest of the fun walkers at City Hall area... Yeah, we cheated!

Oppsie... It's already 2am but i'm still very much awake... Kekeke... Just came back from supper.. Thankz linn for the nite ride!
linn came and fetch me but we got no idea where exactly we wanted to go or do... Then we fetch sis @ J8 den headed to orchard, mohd sultan, bugis, kallang, lavender aimlessly... We been to one petrol kiosh to use their toilet... The funny thing is that we ended up, having one piece of roti prata each at her nearby coffeeshop.
One funny incident happened when we were waiting at the traffic light.. A cabber staring at us... trying to signal us wif his hand language showing "twinkle twinkle" but we thought he was trying to communicate wif another cabber beside us... so we ignored him. Then we drove for some distant then realised he was actually telling us we forgot to on our head light!!!! Wahahhaaa... Funni or wad...
Anyway, me n sis are kind of impressed by linn's driving skill... Bcoz her dad's car is those 6 seater kind.. so big!

Just the other day Suling mentioned that we have actually known for good 12 years... Woo.. over a decade already... We have all growth "mature" kekeke..
Panda, Fen and BSB were actually not our direct classmates...we were so called "next door" classmates... We just happened to click so well during sec sch days.. Me n sis actually prefer to hang around wif them than our own classmates. As some gals in my class were kind of irritating back then.
Like the previous years, Panda gave us a treat on her b'day...Is wad we usually do during our b'days... We had kenny roger last evening. Yummilicious~~ Thanks for the treat wor! We bought her a Adidas bag after i saw her checking out the bag before the rest arrived... Anyway hope she likes it.
After our dinner, we went to Pacific Coffee Co for drink, cake and photos...

Wahh..It's Friday! Let me update a bit of my happenings for the past few days..
Tuesday - Last day of my temp assignment. Felt kind of relief after leaving there, however I gotta start the job hunting thingy all over again. Which means i have to go for a few more interviews...Wish me luck!

Received a call from poly classmate, Puvan. She asking us out for a gathering...I'm most willing to go... Gonna ask WS and gang along too. Heard tat most of them are working already... so good.

Thursday - TEP frds gathering
Went for an interview at lavender, "a tiger logo bank". I dunno why in the first place i went...I'm not tat keen... I told the interviewer a lot about of my own thoughts..hiak hiakz. Mostly likely i wouldn't be selected..
After interview, went to Tampines to meet Aida. I reached there slightly early so i shopped around...and happened to see a 190cm guy frd attending to customer so i just said hi and then bye to him and left. Hi-Bye Frd eh??
Accompanied Aida to her interview at a foreign bank...Saw a familiar face there. A uob cc ex-colleague i supposed.
Met up the rest (jer and alan) at P.S. for dinner and pool.

Almost forgotten that Laureen invited us to her chalet @ ECP today.... Met the gals and went wif them... We rent the bikes and cycled to her chalet to meet her. It was so tiring to cycle to the another end of ECP... Gosh, as usual our dear Jean lost her way so many times... *hahaa* she ahh simply cycle too slow liao lah.. =P Saw a frd, he was cycling there too when we walking back to the chalet. We just waved "Hi" at each other.
I can feel my legs aching now... Boo~
Saw Shirley and chatted wif her abt tat programme thingy... She's still seeing that regular guy..hiak hiak... She advised me not to eat carbo at nite in order to slim down... But the problem is can i survive without eating carbo?? I will most probably faint sia! She said that she didnt take carbo for a week just bcos of tat programme and nearly fainted... I was like: Wah, why such a hassle!? Oh yah, she and martina go swimming every wednesday at hougang. If only they swim at bishan....I surely join! Hmm..tink i cant swim too..Auntie will be visiting soon bah... As for jogging... she wants me to join her at hougang... so far again?? I dislike jogging, I only jog when i hit the gym. She and colleagues cycle every sunday...Maybe i can consider cycling. I seriously need to shed off some fats...Bro's wedding is coming real soon. I wanna look nice on his big day too.. *w|nkZ*

Hmm.. I hope this would be the last saturday I am required to working. It is simply too tiring to even thought of working on Saturdays... Shh..shh.. Dun let sis knows this, if not she would be mad! *keke* The feelings suckz!
I was the first person to reach office today...It was so dark along the route to my dept...as all the lights were switched off and i dunno where to find the switches! HAhaa.. So I just dashed to my office and on the lights and wait for the rest to walk in one by one. A colleague bought me a sandwich, as i didnt eat breakfast. =)
Left the office on the dot. to meet Ling for lunchie. After that we went separate ways. Sis joined me at m.i.n.d.z today. The volunteers there, were kind of surprise to see "another me" hahaa... Anyway I have been missing in actions for the previous saturdays, therefore it's nice to join them in those activities again. I realised that i'm slightly open up to the members liao. As for now I have to learn to interact more wif them probably.
The volunteers mentioned about the big w@lk and ac|d c@mp thingy...Big walk, i confirm going bcos i registered wif tat Mr M liao but havent pay that 4bucks nia... Hahaa..Guess wad he said "Eh, u wan nissan hor, must pay 4dollars first hor.."
Oh i would be very interested in the camp thingy too... sounds great. Just hope that Auntie wont visit me during those few days....

Life in the working society isn't tat great.. still prefer schooling life..kekeke.. That may explains why i went to poly. Am I trying to escape from the reality?? Nah... I simply want to gain more knowledge and prepare myself well before stepping back to the working world... This sounds better eh?? Nevertheless...I finally bring up my courage and told my peeps in work place that i will be leaving them at the end of this week. (hopefully, by then the agent got another replacement..)
The reason of giving up this job is tat I dun see a point of dragging myself to a workplace where I don't feel happy about nor i dun see any prospects...(Gossip: a few of colleagues leaving anytime too.. hahaaa) So It is likewise better for me to leave now then later... They did try to persuade me to stay awhile longer to try... even added that tis is a temporary lead to permanent job... I knew in the beginning but just too bad.. They should just look back on what they told me during interview and wad i'm assigned to do now.. Doesn't tally a bit at all.

Dinner n La kopi session wif "big sis big" and panda on fri nite... I didnt know that just the 3 of us, we could actually talk so much. It was Nice =)
Whereas for today(Sat), I met up wif my poly coursemates as Fifi came back from her Europe trip...She brought her photos for us to view. The cousin of her is so cute! A mixed blood baby boi of her aunt n holland husband. The gals are all working; From Audit, Accounts to even Tuition. However, some are also waiting patiently for uni to reply them. It is definitely nice to see them continue further their studies...
All of us is looking forward to our graduation ceremony.. WhEeeeE.. Wanna get a business suit from G2000. Saw one which is very nice but simply too exp...

Phew~~ It's so nice to return home before 5pm. The train is slightly less crowded. Wonder why? Hehee..I went for an interview in a "powderful" place. The security is very tight.... Sis and me gotta went thru quite a few security access.
Shld I conclude tat i had a embarrasing moment during the interview session.. I threw the fellow Nypians' faces!
I should have read up on Financial stuffs...I never expect them to ask me abt tat coz i was supposed to interview for Accounting positions. See lah, how unprepared am I sia?
The best thing is: there was 5 persons sit in for my interview. I wasn't prepared at all! I was so soft spoken, as per usual. hahaa..If only I can talk as loud as i usually do.
Oh yah.. the accounting answers which they asked i was able to answer but as for the financial part... I'm a goner! Forget it, it's over.....

After graduating... after rotting @ home for like a mth... after getting my final semester results... after some time searching for jobs... And before I knew it, I'm gonna start work tomorrow. Can i say i'm not mentally prepared for work yet? Nope, obviously... Coz i agreed to take tat job. Nevertheless, I made an effort to "sieve out" those working clothings in my wardrode... I roughly have in mind wad i'm going to wear for the next few days. I even ironed them already. *proud, heheez* I obviously need MORE working clothes...Gotta get a few more set of working clothes real soon...
Wonder how's my job scope would be like... Wonder how's my colleagues like... wonder how my work desk like... wonder how the culture there like... wondering wondering... Okie, I will find out myself tomorrow. Heeheez..
Ohh ohh.. I got contingency plan, if i were to discover anything "not so good" in the workplace. I will signal my sis and she will send out my resume to respective agencies.. Wahahaa..

Haiz, the sad thing is from tomorrow onwards i cant sleep until extremely late liao... can't watch those afternoon tv programme like entertainment news and my korean drama "yellow handkerchief.. so sad can!
Aiyoh... The so called "working life= no life" is hitting me soon mah. Not a chance!
Got to remember to bring my cardigan, organiser, my own stationery, sweets... my surviving kit!
My dearest yr 1 poly mate is reporting for her first day of work at the same area as me! WhEeee... maybe i can meet her for lunch or something.. at least i got to see a familiar face if i'm lucky.
